Abstract : Cotton occupies the first place amid fibers with regard to textiles industry of human clothing due to the fact that the world consumption of cotton fibers is double that of other fibers. Cotton clothes are distinguished by comfort in use they can easily absorb sweat . Furthermore, they are famous for durability which varies according to the type of cotton and the way it is manufactured. As a result of this characteristic. And due to its ability to withstand the day-to-day use and repeated wash processes. we can manufacture work clothes from cotton. The objective of this research is the study of the significance of using the cotton and blended textiles in the working women clothes in Jeddah through a detailed practical study about cotton textiles, their main characteristics and clarify to what cxtent they are suitable for different uses in the working women clothes. That requires getting acquainted with the different characteristics and their close relationship. With working women's selection of the types of and textiles for various times of the day. The researcher has followed a field analytical and descriptive method by selecting a random sample of (150) Saudi employed women work in Jeddah city, K.S.A The researcher used percentages, average and the chi square at various significance levels
