The marketing is the channel that determined contact vocabulary between the industrial producer and the consumer desires . It Is an interactive and interoperate system consisting of various activities , which designed and prepared for pricing and promoting goods to current and expected customers .
Marketing has become one the important and sensitive sciences , in the economically developed nations . because of its ability to identify the needs and desires of consumers , and trying to satisfy them . And applying different solutions for marketing problems , products distribution and satisfying the desires of consumer .
There for , the need arises to study the marketing problems of the woman local manufactured clothes , on the scientific basis , and according to field studies for different examples , So that we can keep pace the world in industrial field , and access to high quality products match what has been imported from a brood .
The research included five main chapters :
The first chapter : The introduction and the research plan :
It provides an over view of research , the definition of the problem , aims , importance , assumptions and scientific search terms .
The second chapter : The theorecal frame work: It consists of :
• Marketing , its importance and function . It define marketing mix and the four elements ( Goods , Price , Promotion and Distribution)
• Identify the types of consumers and the behavior of their procurement It displays the several methods for tracking customer satisfaction .
• The quality , its aim and its impact on improving productivity .
• The brand and the types of the aims and strategies used in marketing
• The aims and strategies of the industry in Saudi Arabia and the face of the challenges and obstacles.
• The fashion design and its links with marketing .
The third chapter : The previous studies :
• Studies of marketing .
• Studies of fashion designs .
The fourth chapter : Field studies :
It contains methods and procedures for research . It followed descriptive analytical method .
The research contained three samples ( consumers ) have been applied by the first resolution to know their view son domestic and imported clothing .
• The causes of abstinence with the purchase of locally manufactured clothing are non appropriate supplements , scarcity of good materials and high sewing .
• A discrepancy in the cause of consumer preference in buying imported as following . The quality of the material diversity and harmony costs , color harmony , finally the match of the products sizes .
• Whenever the income and the education level increases , the demand for buying the locally manufactured clothing becomes less .
• Whenever the income level increases the demand for buying the most famous brands increases .
• Nonpreference buying some clothes manufactured locally , skirts, blouses , evening clothes and trousers .
To know the problems that face the ( ) business men in marketing . The results are :
• The traders importing the garment as their tastes without attention to consumer taste .
• The large member of competitors in the marketing of imported garments , especially replicas of them , whether local Asian States .
• Spreading many foreign imported goods , which works to reduce the value of the local product .
• The local industry failed to satisfy the desires and demands of the consumer , for the local of quality , finishing and sewing .
• Price of local products are high as compared with those imported .
The ( ) owners of local garment factories clarify the administrative problems the faced marketing . The results were :
• Lack of manpower national technical and professional in the field of sewing , in addition their higher wages .
• The production of local factories is very limited and do not meet the requirements and needs of consumers , but only in a small scale like men thobe , professional clothes and school uniforms .
• The sources of machines , sewing machines and raw materials are all imported of which increase the cost of local product .
• Unreconciled Saudi products imported products interims of quality and finishing .
• High prices of clothes manufactured locally compared to those of imported , which leads to the reluctance of some capital for investment in this area .
• Some of the problems that faced by the factory owners are : rely hand in both the design and durable minors , the lack of specialized labor in the production process , the lack of raw materials and supplements , the lack of standard specification for the Saudi size .
• Some of the management problems : The large number of competitors in order to reopen the floodgates import , the lack of specialists studying the Saudi market , the proliferation of imported clothes frequently , lack of consumer confidence in national industries and finally the high customs rates for imported fabrics .
The fifth chapter : The conclusion and the recommendations :
The Important Recommendations :
The government encourages the entrepreneurs to invest the Saudi capitals inside , by opining garments factories and the recruitment of home economics college graduates and benefit from their experiences as specialties .
- Provision of equipment with modern technology , which help to improve product quality and reduce disparities time and speed in the delivery of products and the ability to secure additional quantities of the product in a timely manner .
- Establishment of factories for the production of basic raw material fabric , through the use of oil derivatives available frequently .
- Support the national industry provide all means of its success , by finding employment opportunities for a strong national work face and raise efficiency through in the garment industry in order to provide jobs that help unemployment problems .
- Attention to the quality of the product starting from the material and ending with the final product , because it is the main factor in the face of competition internally and externally .
- Improve the mental picture of the domestic product to the consumer and to promotion internally and externally seasonal fairs.
- Interest pricing of locally manufactured products with potential and expectations of consumers , compared to prices of imported goods .
-Action marketing studies to identify the requirements and needs of the consumer and Saudi market .
- Providing designs with superior taste and compatibility of fashion lines and the according to our Islamic and customs of Saudi society.
- Do scientific studies and researches in marketing of garments manufactured locally , because of lacking for such research .
- Protecting local industry by the government and by limiting the importation of products the national good products that paralleling.
